■WITH the shackles off after survival was confirmed last weekend, Mickleover Sports played with such freedom in the first half that the game was effectively over by the break.
It was a stark contrast to earlier form in the season, but without pressure on their shoulders Mickleover delivered in front of their home fans with a professional and workmanlike performance.
Ironically, it was visitors Barwell who took the lead with a penalty netted by Callum Ball in the ninth minute. Barwell rarely lose when taking the lead but it proved to be their own undoing on this occasi...
