CLITHEROE took a first half played in brilliant sunshine to settle their nerves. Kicking with the wind, they made the most chances but could not relax with Rob Bordman up front for Albion.
The second half showed more promise. Kurt Willoughby should have scored in the first minute while Bordman for Albion unlocked the home defence with a sublime ball which was narrowly put wide.
However, on 68 minutes Clitheroe substitute Aidan Kirby received the ball from Alex Newby on the right and converted into the far corner.
