WITTON Albion responded to the disappointment of losing at Shaw Lane in the same way they have after previous losses this season – by winning the next game.
Brad Bauress set them on their way when he skipped around Stamford goalkeeper Sam Donkin before finishing smartly. Steven Tames doubled the hosts’ lead, lashing in a rebound after his initial header was blocked by the Daniels’ custodian.
And when frontman Rob Hopley sidestepped the challenge of two defenders before angling in a third goal after the interval, it was job done.
