HAYWARDS HEATH must wait several more days before learning if they are to be stripped of their Southern Combination league title.
On Thursday, at an FA appeal hearing held at the Sussex FA’s headquarters in Lancing, the club were found guilty of fielding an ineligible player.
Melford Simpson played while suspended for an unpaid £10 fine imposed by the London Football Association.
The club were warned about their future conduct, while Simpson received a one-game ban and was fined £20 fine.
