POOLS TURN TO HARRISON FOR THEIR REVIVAL

NATIONAL LEAGUE new boys Hartlepool United have appointed TNS boss Craig Harrison as their new manager. Pools have chosen the 39-year-old from more than 50 applicants to lead them in their first season in Non-League.
Despite winning their final game of last season, the club slipped out of the Football League on the back of just one win in nine games – form that saw unpopular boss Dave Jones sacked.
Former Luton Town and Tranmere Rovers boss Gary Brabin had applied for the role, while ex-Solihull Moors manager Marcus Bignot was also in the frame.
