RELEGATED AFC Sudbury have suffered a blow after club stalwart James Baker announced he is to leave the club.
Since arriving in Suffolk seven years ago, Baker has proved a huge hit with the fans, winning the Supporters Player of the Year Award in three of the last four seasons.
But the talisman has now decided he wants to leave King’s Marsh to keep playing at Step 3 football following the club’s relegation from the Ryman Premier this season.
Baker lies eighth in AFC Sudbury’s all-time appearance list with 302 games while his 97 goals puts him in fourth.
