VISITING Margate looked very impressive in this pre-season tune up at a wet Aspect Arena, dispatching their highly-ranked hosts in style.
They took a hold of the game early with a goal from Frannie Collin, as he took control of a misplaced cross and duly struck the ball cleanly inside the top left corner.
Gate looked comfortable in the first half and came close to doubling their lead – Collin crossing deep for Liam Friend whose low headed effort was well saved by Tim Brown.
