■TAMWORTH were comprehensively beaten by a young Aston Villa side on Friday night.
Callum O’Hare was the difference between the two sides during the first half, putting Villa into an 18th minute lead after firing past Jack Stevens. Ten minutes later, Lambs centre half Jack Lane reacted well to clear an O’Hare effort off the goalline.
Tamworth’s closest effort came around the half hour, when Andrew Burns volleyed over after some incisive build-up play.
