CADOGAN THWARTS BLUES AT THE DEATH

A LAST-GASP goal from substitute Kieron Cadogan sent Sutton United to the top of the National League table and left Chester still searching for their first home victory of 2017.

The U’s dominated proceedings in the first half and went two goals up through Louis John and Tommy Wright before Craig Mahon gave the Blues a lifeline just before the break.
That prompted a Chester response, with Lucas Dawson bringing them level with a fine 20-yard effort before Cadogan delicately chipped home the winner after a slip from Jordan Chapple.
