CLAPTON, from the Essex Senior League, pulled off a bit of a shock as they beat Bostik League Norwich United at a rather empty Spotted Dog.
A boycott by the Ultras meant that most of the Clapton faithful were not there, though 60 did stand outside the ground and went through their usual catalogue of songs and chants. Had they been in the ground they would have watched United make a very good start with Lee Will and Adam Hipperson causing a few problems.
