WITTON Albion maintained their unbeaten start to the season with victory at Barwell, who have had a rollercoaster start to the season.
Both teams started the game brightly.
Barwell’s Ryan Robbins failed to convert Declan Towers’ cross from close range in the opening minutes.
And soon after Witton’s Steven Tames made a bursting run through the centre but his shot was comfortably stopped by Liam Castle.
The game became a battle in the centre of the park, but both sides still had their chances.
