BUXTON scored early and doubled their advantage by the half hour, but a spectacular own goal in first half added time put the Yeltz back in it.
And the second half was evenly fought with the visitors having their share of chances to equalise.
The Bucks opened strongly with debutant loanee Curtis Morrison scoring from a grounded position and then Liam Hardy made it two.
Luke Hinsley and Alpha Kaba for Buxton had goalbound shots blocked.
