UXBRIDGE trailed from early on and, despite plenty of attacking intent, were not able to challenge a strong Kempston defence.
Just five minutes had gone when Sam Johnson received the ball on the left wing and went round two defenders to drive a low cross across the face of the goal for Robbie Goodman to fire home.
On 26 minutes Ben Peden, of Uxbridge, produced a long pass that found Joe Wright on his own with only the goalkeeper to beat but he blasted his effort hastily over the bar.
