THIS game can sometimes be child’s play, but Macclesfield’s players were far from blue-eyed boys in manager John Askey’s eyes.
The Silkmen were made to pay for a series of missed chances as Woking somehow escaped with their first points on the road.
“My nine-year-old daughter could have scored some of those chances,” fumed Askey.
“We needed to show composure in striking the ball and they were sloppy goals to give away. I’d have been disappointed with a draw, even at halftime, but I’d take it now.”
