A FIRST-HALF brace by Josh Wilson ended Chorley’s five-and-ahalf- hour goal drought and brought three precious points following a six-match winless run.
The hosts gave an uncertain York defence a serious first-half examination with new loan signing Nick Haughton a lively midfield driving force.
Wilson put the Magpies ahead in the 20th minute with a simple finish into an empty net.
A miskick in the visitors’ defence let in Marcus Carver, who was tackled in the act of shooting and the ball broke to the unmarked Wilson for a gift goal.
