LEAMINGTON picked up their first victory since the opening day as goals from Connor Gudger and substitute Colby Bishop saw them beat FC United.
A run of six consecutive defeats since beating Gainsborough last month had seen the Brakes fall to the foot of the table but they came into this game with a clear plan of nullifying the hosts, who should have been full of confidence following big wins at home to Boston and away at York City.
