AN enthralling game at The City Stadium saw the sides throw caution to the wind as in-form East Thurrock came back from behind three times to draw.
The Hoops took the lead after four minutes as Christian Oxlade- Chamberlain’s cross found Pearce at the near post. However, Sam Higgins’s sublime strike from a free-kick saw them soon pegged back.
The Hoops retook the lead in the 35th minute as Matt Paterson rounded first the keeper to tap home his seventh of the season.
