TIVERTON TOWN continued their impressive home form with an excellent victory against a welldrilled Hitchin Town team.
The Canaries started the game well and were dictating the play, with Jonny McNamara and Charlie Smith looking dangerous bursting forward.
Tivvy’s first chance fell to Mike Landricombe, who put a header just wide of Michael Johnson’s goal.
On 19 minutes Tiverton broke the deadlock when a long punt from goalkeeper Martin Rice found Levi Landricombe in space and he finished with aplomb.
