■SPALDING held Leek to a goalless draw at Harrison Park despite having a man sent off on the hour mark.
Leek came close on three minutes, but Rob Stevenson saw his shot well saved by Michael Duggan.
The visitors lost Jack Fixter to injury on ten minutes, and he was replaced by Ellis Humble.
On 51 minutes, Leek keeper Ben Chapman conceded a penalty, but he redeemed himself with a great save from Gary King’s spot-kick.
Bradley Maslen-Jones received his marching orders for a second bookable offence, leaving the visitors down to ten men.
