■TIVERTON continued their meteoric rise with victory over Basingstoke Town to take them to the summit.
Tiverton opened the scoring on 17 minutes when the prolific Levi Landricombe’s shot took a deflection off Dan Collier.
Two minutes later Tivvy were two goals up when Landricombe scored a trademark 25 yard free-kick.
It took Martin Rice to make a brilliant onehanded save from a curling Sam Deadfield shot on 40 minutes to keep the Whites at bay.
