■THE Hillmen made it five on the spin with this hard fought victory against the Reds at Surrey Street.
They had taken the lead in the fourth minute through Adam Jones’ header from a free kick, but for the next half hour were put under the cosh by Colne, Mike Fish grabbing a leveller on 27 minutes.
Colne looked likely to score, but before the break Ben Deegan headed Glossop back in front, latching onto Jones’s downward header. And the momentum swing was complete when Colne’s Mark Ayres was dismissed before the break.
