■ANDY Welsh’s last-gasp penalty helped Ossett Albion cling on for their first win of the season as the Dewsbury side defeated Radcliffe Borough 2-1.
The only goal Albion could manage in the first half came from the boot of Radcliffe’s Darren Torpey, as the defender attempted to clear a free-kick.
The visitors made amends after the break though, when James Hooper drove through the defence to fire the ball past Brett Souter.
Albion swiftly introduced substitutes to inject some momentum into their play as the final whistle drew nearer.
