MARKET Drayton Town continued their impressive climb away from the foot-of-the-table position they occupied only a few weeks ago by extending their unbeaten run to four games.
Town had to dig in for most of the second half after taking the lead through Tyrell McFarlane.
Town keeper Ash Rawlins earned match honours with three fine saves capped by a penalty stop with his knees to deny Gary King – but it was a combined team effort that kept Spalding’s spirited effort at bay.
