BISHOP’S CLEEVEearned their first point of the season with a gritty, backs-against-the-wall defensive performance.
Salisbury had the better of the first half and the first chance fell to Marvin Brooks, with his header being cleared off the line.
After the break the Whites began an onslaught on the Cleeve goal, with a good chance again falling to Brooks on 70 minutes, but his shot went wide.
With 15 minutes left Daniel Young saw his shot deflected over, and minutes later Lewis Benson’s free-kick was well saved by the Cleeve keeper.
