■ AN ANDY Freeman strike sealed the points for Brentwood.
It was not a game that will live long in the memory as free-flowing football was in scarce supply.
Grays failed to halt their poor run of form and rarely troubled the Brentwood goal. Freeman struck on the stroke of half time when Grays failed to clear their lines allowing him to sneak in and slot past Lamar Johnson
Brentwood should have increased their advantage from the spot after the break but Johnson made a fine save to deny Freeman.
