THE battle to avoid a topflight relegation dogfight has further intensified with two more clubs announcing they are to operate on a full-time basis.
Guiseley, under new manager Paul Cox, say plans to step up the schedule have been under consideration for some time, while Chester’s new chief Marcus Bignot says the club “couldn’t keep standing still” following their disappointing FA Cup defeat to Kidderminster last week.
