TWO GOALS in quick succession for Met Police made it a comfortable afternoon at Imber Court as they extended their unbeaten run in the league to six matches.
Gavin James opened the scoring on twenty minutes, toepoking home after the ball deflected into his path from a corner.
It was 2-0 two minutes later; Lloyd Macklin will probably never score an easier goal as he capitalised on Thurrock’s keeper dropping a simple cross by tapping into the empty net.
