SPENNYMOOR earned a vital three points against an in-form Chorley side after a second-half goal from Andrew Johnson.
Johnson, who scored twice during the week for Moors in the Durham Challenge Cup, took his personal tally to seven this season.
In a first half that featured little in the way of goalmouth action, Jason Walker went closest for the visitors, but his close-range header hit the bar.
