LEWES swept aside Evo-Stik South Premier side Bishop’s Stortford to claim a welldeserved place in the next round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Ronnie Conlon blasted over the bar in the first minute and was instrumental in Charlie Coppola’s 12thminute opener for Lewes. Freddy Moncur’s effort was blocked at the near post but Billy Medlock doubled the lead with a looping shot in the 62nd minute that two goalkeepers would’ve struggled to keep out.
