■TWO GOALS in the first quarter gave St Ives victory in a vital game which had the feel of a relegation six-pointer despite pre-dating (most) Christmas decorations. The hosts looked positive from the off and for what felt like the first time this season they got a stroke of luck as James Hall punished Peter Kioso’s mistake on 19 minutes.
