BUDGET CUT AS IPSWICH STRUGGLE

THURLOW Nunn Eastern Counties Premier strugglers Ipswich Wanderers have axed their playing budget for the rest of the season.
And in a further bid to save costs, they have pulled their second team out of the league’s reserve division.
Recently-appointed manager Mark Benterman and his assistant Jack Simmons now face a major hurdle in their bid to avoid relegation.
Their poor run this season continued in midweek, when they lost 6-0 at Gorleston.
