FA Cup heroes Woking couldn’t back up Tuesday night’s upset with a win as Alan Devonshire got his desired response from Maidenhead United.
It was a question of whether Anthony Limbrick could bring his Cards back down to earth after their triumph at Bury, with seven firstteam players unavailable. He could name only three substitutes, and handed academy goalkeeper Sam Mason his first start in senior football.
