SUTTONmoved to within a point of League leaders Dover with a win over Halifax that the U’s were made to work hard for.
U’s boss Paul Doswell said: “We’re delighted with the win, which keeps our good run going, although a little bit disappointed with some aspects of the performance that allowed Halifax back into the game.”
His counterpart Billy Heath felt his side deserved something, saying: “The spirit in the side is excellent but we were punished for conceding silly goals.”
