CITY continued to carry the momentum from their FA Cup success with a hardfought win.
The Hoops took a commanding 2-0 lead within ten minutes, Christian Oxlade- Chamberlain finishing into an unguarded net after beating Stones keeper Jonathan North to a long ball, before Zac McEachran fired home from 18 yards.
Oxlade-Chamberlain continued to threaten, his cross almost seeing Edward Oshodi put through his own net. The visitors hit back midway through the half, finding a lifeline as Abobaker Eisa fired past Jack Stevens from 12 yards.
