■TWO goals from substitute Jonte Smith helped Lewes overturn a two-goal deficit and claim a valuable point against Thamesmead Town. The visitors took the lead when Raphael Duyile’s cross was blasted home by Richard Pacquette.
Lewes went further behind after Danny Parish scored shortly before the break. Minutes after his arrival, Smith’s powerful run holding off two defenders saw him pull a goal back on 56 minutes. Smith’s injury-time equaliser then led to wild celebrations in front of the home fans.
