MICKLEOVER’S unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of high-flying Warrington Town in their biggest test in a long while.
After an opening 20 minutes that saw the visitors dominate proceedings, Sports came more and more into the game creating a number of chances, although all were too close to keeper Anthony McMillan to trouble him. Mickleover took the lead on 35 minutes as Evan Garnett netted from good approach play by Andy Dales.
