YORK CITY boss Martin Gray blasted his side’s defensive sloppiness despite their win.
Former Lokeren striker Gary Martin’s first goal for the Minstermen gave the holders the lead on the stroke of half-time, before a brace of Jon Parkin penalties put the tie beyond doubt.
When Daniel Creaney scored straight from the restart after Parkin’s second spot-kick, though, Gray finished the game fuming, as his team failed to keep a clean sheet for a 12th consecutive match.
