PRESCOT Cables climbed to second after a hard-fought win at Kendal Town.
Kendal could have gone 1-0 up when Rick Seear headed over, while Danny Penswick saw his effort go over the bar.
But Prescot opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time after Lloyd Dean scrambled home from close range.
However the turning point came midway through the half when Kendal were reduced to ten men after Paul Dawson was sent off, with Jordan Southworth making it two soon after.
Kendal pulled a goal back in the closing stages through Seear before Jordan Klei...
