LEBRUN Mbeka’s first goal of the season was enough to give Ossett Albion all three points against Mossley.
It was certainly worth the wait though as he rose highest from the corner to fire in a bullet header in the first half.
The Unicorns were good value for their lead too, with a number of chances to go two goals ahead – which would have probably killed the game off.
But Mossley themselves pushed in the late stages and at times the attack came close to an onslaught, though they couldn’t do enough to earn the equaliser on their travels.
