EGHAM new boy Marcus Mealing helped himself to a double to ensure his side claimed a hard-fought victory away from home.
Injury-hit Arlesey Town began with three new starters and a youthful-looking side – which bore fruit on 12 minutes when Henry Musay prodded the ball home.
Egham pressed and got the equaliser on 26 minutes with Mealing heading in.
In the 65th minute Mealing doubled his tally for the afternoon, volleying in from six yards to make it 2-1.
Twelve minutes later Egham’s Mitchell Wiseman got in at the far post to squeak the ball home for 3-1.
