INJURY FORCES RICHARD OUT

RICHARD Marshall, one of Farsley Celtic’s promotion heroes, has been forced to hang up his boots at the age of 31.
The striker, who signed for the EVO-STIK Premier side last season, played a key role as the club were promoted from Step 4 last season, bagging 20 goals, including the equaliser in their play-off final victory over Ossett Town.
He was signed from Bradford Park Avenue having also played for Liversedge, Harrogate Railway, Harrogate Town and FC Halifax Town but retired after failing to overcome a long-term hip injury.
