CONSETT moved into the top four after a hardearned 3-2 home win over Guisborough Town, in one of only two games from the two divisions to survive the big freeze in the north-east.
Former Hartlepool striker Michael Mackay scored twice for Consett, his opening goal coming after just six minutes.
He brilliantly turned two defenders inside the box and then beat Jordan Nixon in the Guisborough goal.
