BIG-hearted 1874 Northwich have launched a Christmas winter coat appeal to help local homeless people.
Supporters are being asked to bring unwanted overcoats to the club’s next North West Counties Premier Division game at home to Irlam on Saturday for an event named Big Coat Day.
All coats collected will then be passed to the Northwich branch of the Salvation Army, who will arrange distribution to the homeless and rough sleepers in the area.
