’WE LET FANS DOWN’ SAYS LAMBS’ TAYLOR

CONNOR TAYLOR says he and his Tamworth team-mates let down the fans after crashing to a Boxing Day derby defeat to Nuneaton Town in a “shambolic team performance”.
The Lambs were humiliated 4-1 by their relegation-threatened National League North rivals after going 4-0 down in the opening half an hour.
Midfield ace Taylor apologised to the fans afterwards who responded to a second straight threegoal defeat with cries of ‘You’re not fit to wear the shirt’.
