GAINSBOROUGH lost at home for the first time since September, against relegation rivals Nuneaton Town.
It was a disappointing display for the home side in a game that was settled in the 17th minute by Boro’s Jordan Nicholson.
On loan forward Nicholson was given time and space ten yards out and made no mistake converting from James Ferry’s cut back.
Trinity struggled to keep the ball and rarely threatened Dean Lyness in the Boro goal, his opposite number, Henrich Ravas the busier keeper.
