BRUSH-OFF: Nile Ranger
BILLERICAY Town owner Glenn Tamplin says any move for Football League bad boy Nile Ranger is “dead in the water” after the trouble striker failed to return any of his calls.
The 26-year-old striker was released by Southend United last week after what the club described as “reoccurring disciplinary issues”.
Multi-millionaire Tamplin admitted he was initially keen on signing the former Newcastle, Swindon and Blackpool striker but now says the offer has been withdrawn after Ranger snubbed his advances.
