A SPIRITED display by the relegation-haunted Villagers secured their first point since early November and a first point for manager Chris Bolder.
Chorley might have won by a wide margin but the visitors could have claimed a win via speedy second-half breaks, notably when Brett Agnew crashed a shot off the bar.
Add in a straight red card for Ferriby’s Paul Robson nine minutes from time, when he hauled down Magpies’ sub Khius Metz, and you had the recipe for a nerve-jangling spectacle for a crowd of 1,011.
