MERSTHAM earned all three points when it mattered most.
Remi Sutton opened the scoring for Thurrock on 30 minutes after a well delivered corner caused a scramble in the box. Sutton picked up the loose ball just outside the area and struck a well-placed shot to the keeper’s left.
