PIERCE Mitchell helped Taunton Town cruise past Didcot and extend their lead at the top of the Evo-Stik South West to eight points.
The hosts blitzed their opponents in 16 first-half minutes, killing the game off with three quick goals.
Full-back Mitchell was played in by Dan Sullivan to open the scoring and ten minutes later it was 2-0 as Ollie Chamberlain found time and space in the box to fire past Leigh Bedwell.
And the demolition was complete when Sullivan turned from provider to finisher, latching onto a sloppy back pass to make it 3-0 at the interval.
