CHARITY BALL FOR LEGEND CRAWLEY

VERY few players, especially those at Non-League level, can ever boast of scoring a goal at Wembley – Ian Crawley, though, has bagged two winners at the home of football!
Crawley netted the winner as Rugby Town lifted the FA Vase in 1983 with a 1-0 win over Halesowen Town. And six years later, he was at it again as Telford beat Macclesfield Town by the same score in the FA Trophy. But less than two decades after retirement, Crawley was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease before being diagnosed with terminal cancer shortly after.
